ABOUT THE POSITION The Private Dining Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest-level of customer service to all prospective event clients. All matters related to private events are the responsibility of the Private Dining Manager. The Private Dining Manager will handle corporate and personal events for two busy restaurants in Baltimore City. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Generate revenue by managing all sales and event planning aspects of the business Maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service Manage leads from emails, our websites, and phone calls Assist Vice President of Administration with private dining outreach and the coordination of new revenue streams Liaise with the General Managers, Executive Chefs, and Owner to ensure successful completion of all events Perform administrative tasks related to the execution of events Day-of event management and client tours, as necessary QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and follow-up; ability to garner trust and confidence Exceptional communication and follow-up, both verbal and written Ability to manage clients autonomously Must be self-directed with strong project management High capacity. Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks at once, while focusing on the big picture Results-oriented, solid work ethic Ability to manage time and concurrent priorities Experience Three (3) years of experience in a customer service field Experience managing competing/concurrent priorities with an emphasis on customer service and strong communication Knowledge of the restaurant business and/or event planning preferred JOB TYPE:This is a full-time, IN PERSON position in Baltimore, Maryland.
